Design.
With a background in theater as well as design, I am not afraid to step fully into a concept when the work calls for it.
I approach design as both problem-solving and storytelling. Whether I am creating a book, poster, brochure, handout, or visual campaign, I like work that has a clear purpose, a strong point of view, and a visual language that earns attention.
My background in visual art, writing, education, theater, photography, and public communication allows me to develop projects from concept to final form. I am especially interested in the places where image, text, structure, and message come together to make an idea visible, persuasive, and memorable.
I manage creative work from initial concept through final production, drawing on skills in content design, writing, illustration, photography, digital imaging, and visual composition. I like shaping ideas, solving visual problems, and building materials that are both compelling and useful.
In this video for our grant, I use doodling to explain the CITA program to make the ideas more visual and accessible.
