In addition to her professional roles which include art education professor and director, Dr. Tami Rae Weiss has 20+ years of professional experience as a fine artist, specializing in painting and drawing. Receiving art commissions from businesses, families, and individuals throughout the Midwest, Weiss creates custom works of art tailored to the needs of each client. Weiss communicates with her clients at each stage of the creative process, whether she is working remotely to have the final product(s) shipped or if she is making the project(s) on site.

Dr. Tami Rae Weiss is able to artistically render nearly any subject, size, surface, and artistic medium. She has an advanced set of fine arts skills to depict subjects from observation, from reference photographs or drawings, or from her mind’s eye. She is able to paint and draw with lifelike realism or in a specific style or genre (Impressionism, Pop Art, graffiti art, fantasy, abstract, optical illusion, Expressionism, Pop Art, etc.).
